John 15: I am the vine, you are the branches

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,
while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes
so that it will be even more fruitful.

It is hard to tell the grape vine from the branches
And it's hard to tell where one branch ends and another begins
They all intertwine and support each other so they can bear fruit
That's how God is shaping us
Over the past couple of years
we've been cut back as never before
But God is just re-shaping us
to be more intertwined than ever
and that will bear a good harvest in the days ahead
Like a good vine, lock arms with those near you
Support each other and trust the Master Gardener
Together we will bear good fruit from all of this
