Galatians 6--Sowing and Reaping
--------
Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God.
What a person plants, they will harvest.
The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God—harvests a crop of weeds.
But the one who plants in response to God harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.
So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good.
At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.
Every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.
--------
There are plenty of people in the world sowing the wind, but promising sunshine.
Don't worry about it.
They might fool us.
They might fool themselves.
But they haven't fooled God.
Don't be concerned with those sowing dissension and hate.
God knows what they are planting.
They will reap what they sow.
You sow seeds of kindness and water them with love.
Don't get fatigued with doing good.
You and God will harvest something great.
So be a Johnny Appleseed of mercy and grace today.
