John 14: 27 Peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

If there is one thing we have learned over the past couple of years, it is that we are all connected. Two years ago someone whose name we do not know in a place we had never heard of--sneezed. Next thing you know, the whole world was battling covid.
War affects all of us--no matter how far away it might seem to be. We are all connected.
But God's power of peace is still greater than the power of war. The cold war ended when the Church rose up to set Poland free. Prayer meetings in Czechoslovakia brought down an empire. The underground prayer movement soon brought down the Berlin wall.
The power of Peace always triumphs when God's people pray for Peace this world cannot give--and the world cannot take away. So don't wait until war edges closer. Pray for peace today.
