1 Timothy 2: Post Election Prayers
First of all, let petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—
For rulers and all those in authority—
That we may live peaceful and quiet lives
In all godliness and holiness.

We are still blessed to live in America
No matter how you voted yesterday, nobody is coming to arrest you today
You can say anything you want about elected officials
No one will break down your door in retribution
But that freedom is not our birthright
It is a fragile thing which can easily be lost
Even here
No amount of criticism and nay saying will improve our government
Our FIRST reaction should be prayer
Prayers for our leaders (would YOU want their job?)
Prayer for our nation
God is able to work ALL things together for good, when God's people pray
