Luke 24: He Opened their Minds

He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?"
They still did not believe it because of joy and amazement.
Then he opened their minds so they could understand.

The risen Lord found the disciples in a state of confusion.
There was joy--but also confusion and doubt.
Hmm... Sounds like us in 2021.
Maybe the greatest miracle of the resurrection was the gift of an open mind.
It's certainly a gift that's in short supply today.
It's natural to feel joy as the restrictions lift.
It's natural to feel confusion and doubt.
It's supernatural to have an open mind and an understanding spirit.
Fortunately, we know where to go to find those gifts.
