John 9 (revised for 2020) The Light of the World
As Jesus went along, he saw [people infected with corona virus].
His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, [these persons? Or someone else who caused them to get covid-19]?
“Neither [the infected ones] nor [other people are to blame],” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be put into action for all to see."
"As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work."
"While I am in the world, I am still the light of the world.”
Prayer:
May God the Father bless you, God the Son heal you, God the Holy Spirit give you strength. May God the holy and undivided One guard your body, save your soul, and bring you safely to his heavenly country; where he lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
