Our Dwelling Place

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Thou turnest humanity to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

There is something within us that knows eternity.
We have no evidence of it in this world.
But we know.
Life SHOULDN'T be temporary.
We were made for everlasting life.
Our hearts know God is our everlasting resting place.

When peace like a river attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul.
