Revelation 8: Eerie Silence

When the lamb opened the seventh seal,
there was silence in heaven.

Remember Sept 12, 2001?
There was silence in the heavens.
No air traffic.
Just silence.
It was ominous--foreboding--eerie silence.
In the Book of Revelation, the 7th seal was the most awful judgment of all:
Heaven went silent.
But the silence was shattered when the angel hurled the prayers of God's people to earth.
Let your prayers shatter the silence today.
Say your prayers, but don't stop there.
Put your prayers into action--acts of kindness and compassion.
Let the people of God roar forth like streams of mercy, shattering fear and renewing Creation.
