1 Kings 19: That Still, Small, Voice

The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful whirlwind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks, but the Lord was not in the whirlwind.
After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
And after the fire came a still, small voice.
When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here?"

There was lots of noise around Elijah, but he listened to that still, small, voice.
Don't let the noise of the world drown out the whisper of God today.

Now let us have a little talk with Jesus
Let us tell Him all about our troubles
He will hear our faintest cry
And He will answer by and by
And when you feel a little prayer wheel turnin'
And you will know a little fire is burnin'
You will find a little talk with Jesus makes it right
