Ephesians 4: Kindness and Compassion, Day 2

When you are angry, do not sin
Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry
and do not give the devil a foothold
Do not let any negative words come out of your mouths
but only what is helpful for building others up
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, feuding and slander
Be kind and compassionate to one another
forgiving each other, just as God forgave you

Elected officials and people in power should be held accountable for their actions.
But these days it seems people are being held accountable for their innermost thoughts, going back to childhood.
We ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Part of kindness is forgiving those failures and faults just as you have been forgiven.
That's hard to do--unless you believe in a redeeming God who can change people to their very core.
Kindness and forgiveness go hand in hand.
