John 11:25-26 Why is it Easter?
--------
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

It is spring, and that means it HAS to be Easter. If Easter didn't come in the spring, we'd have to create a festival of new life for the season. Easter doesn't happen only in church. The whole earth is busy celebrating resurrection.
For me, the first sign of spring is the song of the tree frogs, peeping like mad after a warm evening rain. They crawl from the earth to celebrate spring showers. Each one is a tiny Lazarus.
In the spring human critters get the gardening bug. The Creator made us to tend the Garden. God loves us so much that He invested us with power to be co-creators with God. Without God's blessing, we sew the seeds in vain. Without the gardener, the seeds will never be sewn.
Planting is always an act of faith--resurrection faith.
Cultures all over the world celebrate resurrection in the spring. Next time you hear a tree frog peeping, see wild geese on the wing, or you sew a seed in the garden--remember, it's GOTTA be Easter.
