Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

NYPD Officer Alyssa Vogel wasn't trying to be a hero when she scooped up a child who had been shot on Times Square. When asked what motivated her she said, "I have a baby of my own at home."
A mother's love moved her to action. When we see that, we see God's love made complete.
Perhaps we can see it even more clearly in a scene of senseless violence and hate. Maybe that makes it clear: every act of love is an act of heroism.
Be a hero today. Make God's love complete.
