John 20: Beam Me Up!
--------
On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

Eye witnesses to the resurrection were clear about a couple of things. First, Jesus was not resurrected in some vague spiritual sense. He was a real, breathing, death-defeating, victory-living touchable person. Second, he had an unsettling way of showing up when they least expected it.
So how did he do that?
It's possible God gave him the keys to the Star Trek transporter and he just kept beaming in and out of the room.
But maybe it's more likely that the miracle wasn't the teleporting, but the vision. Maybe he was there all along--and sometimes they had eyes to see.
If so, that miracle is still available to every believer. When God opens our eyes, we can still see Christ today... Not in some vague, spiritual sense... But walking, laughing, and breathing among us.
