John 21: That's a Nun-ya!
---------
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”
---------
When Jesus reinstated Peter, he told Peter one day he would be arrested--just as Jesus had been. Peter looked around at John and said, "Oh yeah? Well what about HIM?"
And Christ replied with infinite love and patience, "That's a nun-ya... Nun ya business! YOU follow me!"
When we look around it's easy to think others have gotten a free pass, an easier ride, a better deal. She gets ALL the breaks! Why does HE get things so easy? Why do I have to go through this?
Psychologists call this triangulation. When we pull someone else into our drama we don't have to focus on our own part. We can blame THOSE PEOPLE for the problem.
Strange, isn't it? When we are blessed we don't automatically ask, "Why me, Lord? Why don't you pour out your loving kindness on someone else for a change?"
Life isn't fair with blessings or hardships. The question isn't what about somebody else. The question is how to walk closer to Jesus today--no matter what life has in store.

Why me Lord?
What have I ever done?
To deserve even one
Of the blessings I've known
Why me Lord?
What did I ever do?
That was worth love from You
And the kindness You've shown
Lord help me, Jesus
I've wasted it
So help me Jesus
I know what I am
Now that I know
That I've needed You
So help me Jesus
My soul's in Your hand
