Psalm 8
When I consider the moon and the stars
-------------------
When we face an unseen enemy, we feel so powerless.
But listen to the voices of babies and the words of children!
How precious!
How perfect!
How awesome is LIFE!!!
When we contemplate the perfection of all God has made,
and the love of God that is bigger than the cosmos,
Then all our worries seem so small in God's hands.
--------------------
O Lord,
OUR Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the [virus] and [the power of death].
When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
What are human beings that you are mindful of them,
mortal women and men that you care for them?
You have made us a little lower than the angels
and crowned us with glory and honor.
You made us rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under our feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
O Lord,
OUR Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Mohawk Prayer
Oh Great Spirit,
Creator of all things;
Human Beings, trees, grass, berries.
Help us, be kind to us.
Let us be happy on earth.
Let us lead our children
To a good life and old age.
These our people; give them good minds
To love one another.
Oh Great Spirit,
Be kind to us
Give these people the favor
To see green trees,
Green grass, flowers, and berries
This next spring;
So we all meet again
Oh Great Spirit,
We ask of you.
