Freedom
Acts 22: Freedom
------
Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman Citizen? He said, Yes. And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.

We all tend to think that freedom is our birthright. It's guaranteed in our Constitution, right? But a legal document cannot guarantee freedom. It's a blessing--a gift from God.
Face it. If we are free it is not because we have made wise choices in selecting our leaders. It is because God has blessed us. Sometimes that blessing has come because of our choices, sometimes in spite of them.
Freedom is fragile. Look around the world and you'll see: tyranny is normal. Corruption is too. Pray for our leaders, and praise God for your freedom.
