God's Plan

And the Word was with God,
And the Word WAS God.

That great philosopher, Mike Tyson, once said,
Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
God's plan is not like my plan.
It is still in effect.
It was in effect through the chaos of creation.
It was in effect through centuries of slavery.
It was in effect in a manger.
It was in effect when King Herod slaughtered innocent children.
It was in effect when the soldiers smacked Jesus in the mouth.
It was in effect on Golgotha's cross.
NOTHING could distract God from the plan.
God's plan is in effect today.
And remember--from the beginning of Creation, YOU have been part of that plan.
That plan was with God, and--hold your breath--wait for it--
That plan WAS God.
God's plan was to send Christ for you...
But God's plan was also to send YOU to come to Christ.
YOU are at the heart of God's very essence.
And no amount of mouth smacking can change that.
