Genesis 1: Look to the Sky
--------------------------
And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

The sky literally creates a slender blue bubble of life in the dark death of space. The atmosphere shields us from everything from space rocks to gamma rays. But it is so thin that the highest mountains take us right to the edge. If you climb high enough, you can actually walk right out of the atmosphere.
The on the second day, the Creator made a thin blue line in empty space to make life possible. Today, take a deep breath of sweet air and look to the sky. The creator made it on the second day, and it is still good.
