Peace and Prosperity

May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels.
For the sake of my family and friends,
I will say, “Peace be within you.”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek your prosperity.

We tend to think peace and prosperity are our birthrights here in America.
The past week has shown us this is not so.
It is a fragile gift of God.
And it is linked to the peace and prosperity to the House of God
The Church
Today, pray for the Peace and Prosperity of God.

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial-like strains it unceasingly falls
O’er my soul like an infinite calm.
Peace, peace! wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above,
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray,
In fathomless billows of love.
